PBL Experience: I teach college courses using PBL, research about PBL, provide PD on PBL, and wrote a book about PBL published by National Council of Teachers of Math called Rigor, Relevance, and Relationships: Making Mathematics Come Alive with Project-Based Learning.
Favorite aspect of PBL: Seeing learners take pride in their learning and advocating for themselves.
Why do you enjoy facilitating? It allows me to grow as a professional, reflect on my own teaching practices, and develop deeper relationships with my learners.
