I’m Ryan Steuer – author and thought leader who specializes in Project Based Learning training, coaching, community, and content to help educational leaders fulfill their vision of deeper learning in their schools.

I believe that educators can change the world…no seriously!

In my classroom (and likely yours too), I saw students who did not value education because the system did not serve their family well. If we can change the view of education in a student’s eyes, then they will raise their family to value education. Thus, the work we do in the classroom can have an exponential impact on changing the world.

Rachelle was born in Byron Center, Michigan, but has called Indiana home for some time now. She spent a wonderful twenty-five years teaching English and Social Studies; half of those years were in a wall-to-wall PBL school, CSA New Tech in Columbus, IN. She was also part of the design team that created the school, which she defines as “one of my life's greatest experiences.” Rachelle’s job is to facilitate the connections that make “PBL magic” happen. Her work is focused on connecting schools who sign up for workshops with facilitators and content that can best usher them into the world of PBL. When she’s not making PBL magic happen, she can be found on adventures with her family (food, hiking, snow and water activities). She also co-owns a yoga studio and loves to share mindfulness with students.

Ruthann Lane

RuthAnn is also a native to the state of Indiana and was born and raised in Anderson, IN. After graduating from Ball State, she had the pleasure of teaching elementary in Kissimmee, Florida for 2 years and then moved back to Indiana where she taught at a PBL elementary, CSA Fodrea in Columbus, for 6 years. Currently, she works as a PBL coach during the academic year, workshop facilitator, and PBL Certification reviewer. In her free time, you can find her spending time with her daughter, twin boys, and husband. As a homeschool family, they enjoy field trips and attending co-op (where she teaches PBL and STEAM). You can also catch her sipping a glass of tea, listening to audio books, and working in her garden.
