Back to Structure of a PBL

How do you use PBL in Afterschool Programs?

AFTERSCHOOL refers to the activities and programs that take place for young people after the school day has ended. Out-of-school Time (OST) is another reference in relation to afterschool. Afterschool programs often have their own unique focus and objectives around enhancing student learning and social emotional growth. Project Based Learning works hand-in-hand with afterschool programs by providing a clear structure, meaningful goals, and a “why” for youth to participate in programs and activities. This page serves as a guide for better understanding how PBL works with afterschool programs.
