What is your “WHY” for teaching? My "WHY" for teaching is to help prepare each learner that steps into my classroom for their next steps in life; whether their next steps are college, the workforce, trade school, or whatever they are passionate about.
Area of Expertise: I have taught different branches of science from Chemistry, to Physical Science, to elementary science, but my expertise and passion is Biology.
PBL Experience: I have been implementing PBL for 3 full years now. I became certified in 2021 and am excited to now be a facilitator.
Favorite aspect of PBL: The authentic, student driven learning—I love watching my learners take on a challenge and show their evidence of learning.
Why do you enjoy facilitating? I am a teacher at heart. I love to help anyone and everyone develop new skills.
