PBL Jumpstart Workshop | Level 1

Beginner/New to Project Based Learning

Experience an immersive, fully interactive Project Based Learning environment while you learn the nuts and bolts of PBL!
You will leave the 3-day workshop with a standards-based PBL Unit ready to implement, plus you'll learn the processes and structures to create future PBL Units.

PBL Jumpstart Workshop Outcomes:

• Gain a comprehensive understanding of the PBL process as well as the Core Components of Project Based Learning.

• Create a standards-based PBL Unit outline that is grade level and content area specific. 

• Receive training, feedback, and insight from PBL Certified Trainers who are experienced Project Based Learning teachers.

• PBL Certified Trainers model learning structures for team and culture building, and equip participants to use those structures with both adults and students.

• Collaborate with peers and PBL Certified Trainers to design a Project Based Learning environment, as it applies to your individual classroom and school/district learning initiatives.

• Leave the workshop with a PBL action plan and tangible next steps for addressing learning objectives and fulfilling the school/district vision.

• Connect with a community of like-minded PBL educators. 

  Upon successful completion of the PBL Workshop, participants receive a certificate
  for earning 21 Professional Growth Points (7 points per day).
