What are Protocols in PBL?

PROTOCOLS are a tool for bringing organization and direction to conversations so that all voices have an opportunity to be heard. Protocols are “structured processes to support focused and productive conversations, build collective understanding, and drive school improvement”*. Protocols provide necessary support for collaboration, feedback, and Project Based Learning work to happen.
